SVP CHAIR-ELECT 

Dr. Hang-Shim Lee is currently an Associate Professor at Konkuk University in Seoul, South Korea, and serves as the Director of the KU Future Work Research Center. Before joining Konkuk University, Dr. Lee was a tenure-track faculty member at Oklahoma State University from 2014 to 2017. She earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia and completed her pre-doctoral internship at The Ohio State University.

In recognition of her dissertation, Dr. Lee received the APA Dissertation Award in 2014 and was a Finalist for the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA) Award in 2019 for her contributions to positive organizations. She is an active member of the APA and has been involved with the Society of Vocational Psychology since 2009. Her research focuses on career development for women and marginalized groups within multicultural psychology, with the goal of enhancing both psychological well-being and collective well-being. Recently, Dr. Lee has been open to and highly interested in collaboration on research involving digital therapeutics and the integration of AI. Dr. Lee co-founded the Korean Psychology Network in the U.S. and served as the Co-Chair of the International Section of Division 17 of the APA from 2020 to 2022.
